Six moms...tons of kids...pumpkins. Yes, we might be crazy but it was fun. We headed down to the Avila Valley Barn again with our dear friends and had a great time. Feeding the animals was the hit with most of the kids and rather comical. Addie sported her first set of "pigtails" and looked to funny. She's getting so big.
We had a Saturday together as a family!!!! Wedding wonderland is officially over so we got to enjoy some fun times. Saturday we woke up and decided to take Addie to the Avila Valley Barn. It was amazing! From feeding the animals to the mass amount of pumpkins to the corn maze to the great food, we had a blast...plus I finally got a few funny pics with my little girl.
Whenever we have to clean up Jamba Juice Friday's as a family, we always like to stop at Baskin Robin's for ice cream...Addie is a huge fan. As for the plastic box, we have been over at the Hamon's quite a bit helping with the move and Addie and Jack found a new toy in the plastic box world. Jack especially loved to hide under it.
Some of these make us laugh! Addie has a few new tricks that are worth noting. Picture one is her new form of wanting to take a nap during lunch...she takes blankie, wraps her head in it and literally will fall asleep on the table if we don't take her upstairs soon enough. Addie got a new table in her bedroom that she loves to color, read and work puzzles on. Here is story time with bear. Wow...this has to be one of the best. Addie loves the iPod! She finds joy in music...especially Hannah Montana "Hoedown Throw Down"...embarrassing, I know. Chris put some kid friendly music on my old iPod and she will literally listen to it in the car and not move an inch to prevent the headphones from falling out!!!
Meme and Papa bought Addie a pumpkin this year when Addie and Chris went to Modesto for a weekend trip (I had 2 weddings so I wasn't going to be much fun). We decided to "carve" it the other day with permanent markers since it would be rotten in a week. Addie had a great time drawing on it...and herself. Please also note her amazing hair after she woke up from a nap. :)
The Blakes family vacation this year was quite different than last year. We spent 5 days enjoying downtown Seattle. I have always wanted to visit this town and since we were not wanting to go the Mexico route again, we decided to try it out with the little girl. Addie was amazing considering we trucked her around this huge city for 5 days. We hit all the main spots...especially the kid friendly ones. This is Addie's view each morning while eating her breakfast...spoiled? Addis is getting more and more attached to blankie. Here is her, tired and ready for a nap...on a sidewalk. :) Seattle has the most AMAZING public water fountain! It is a huge structure and the water comes out to classical music so it continues to get bigger and bigger as the song goes on. We took Addie down to see it and let her walk around. Well...a sprout of water shot out, hit her and continued getting her since she tried to run away while it was getting bigger to the music. It was soooo funny! She was not a fan. The first Starbucks...I think I have invested enough in this company to help open a few shops. The fish market at Pikes Place. They have this ugly monk fish...Addie and I went to look at it and it started moving!...they have it on a string to scare customers. Funny. Very funny.
