Modesto Family

These are a bit old but great of the Modesto Family. We are blessed with amazing folks that love us and our sweet girls.

Shelby is dreaming of owning Uncle Joel's car...

Addie is dreaming too...

Visit to Knoxville

We don't get to see the Tennessee family enough...maybe twice a year if we are lucky. The kids are at such a fun age right and we seriously wish we all lived on the same street. Stacey and Mike came down for the day as well as Todd's family from Memphis so we spent an afternoon just sitting and chatting on the porch. Chris and I took off about 4:00 for him to experience his first UT football game. Holy Smokes! I think I even forgot about the craziness TN fans have for their football teams. Needless to say, we had a great time. Nina watch Addie for us while we were gone and she had fun playing dress up with Addie...Addie and Quinn were the official cheerleaders for the day. Too funny! I think Addie will have her mom's body so cheerleading might not be in her future. :) All in all, it was a great trip full of friends and family. How we miss them all.

Addie Singing

Addie is starting to be able to keep up with the songs that we sing. Her favorite so far that she can sing is 'Twinkle Twinkle'. She usually sings only parts but tonight we caught her singing most of the song... we thought it was cute and wanted to share!

Disneyland

It's true...Addie had her first Disneyland experience! We loaded up the car Wednesday to meet up with the Modesto family for a few days at Disneyland. What an adventure! All the kids did amazing considering they walked all over the park and stayed up a few hours past bedtime each night. Mimi and Papa spoiled us all and we loved being with everyone.

Addie was a huge fan of the Finding Nemo ride and the Playhouse Disney show. It was too sweet to see her excited and hear her scream for joy as she saw her "friends." Minnie Mouse was another winner in Addie's book. She got up to her and softly said, "Hi Minnie."...and then blew her a kiss. Chris and I got to ride a few rides by ourselves and it reminded us of the child-like fun we still have together. On top of that, we were amazed at all the technology and brains behind the Disney world of fun...too bad we didn't come up with any of it. :)

Do they look alike or what?! Here's the "Where did Goofy go?" face.
