Christmas Eve

We have found a new tradition for our Christmas Eve celebration: Christmas Eve service, pizza, open one gift (always pj's), Charlie Brown Christmas and decorate cookies. It was great, simple and perfect for us. Addie was too funny at the Christmas Eve service since the nursery was closed due to the service being "family friendly." She was singing "Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round" in the middle of the prayer...in particular, "the doggies on the bus go ruff ruff ruff!" We were dying laughing!

Don't trust the box...I ran out of boxes so Addie's pj's were wrapped in this.

We had Christmas Eve service at our church also. While it was family friendly... taking the Lord's supper was a good idea gone bad. I really think it is a bad idea to eat the bread when you a thinking of killing your six year old son and tapping your babys mouth shut. We didn't get sweet songs from ours. Tre' was rolling a ball in his seat (I didn't see)when it rolled down the row dirrectly in front of the pastor. He jumps up and runs down to get it right as we are starting the prayer. Brianna being 20 months is done with the cherrios and ready to play so she screams "down now mommy" in the middle of the second prayer. So while Christmas Eve service sounds wonderful we will be sitting out for the next few years. I would prefer not be like the couple in the Bible who died because they took the Lord's Supper unworthily.Hope you all had a great New Year. I can't belive I have never even met Addie. Hope to see you soon.
