What a day! I woke up before all the girls did and was dying to get them up. Thanks to my amazing husband, I was able to lay in bed until Addie, Annibell and Shelby graced us with their presense. The girls had a great time opening gifts and playing with the wrapping paper. Shelby got more clothes and stuff than she knows what to do with herself (thank you everyone who made that possible!!!) and the babies loved the toys and puzzles.
After the wrapping paper bomb explosion was cleaned up, we had a huge breakfast and enjoyed being together as a family in the house. Chris's folks got to the house about 3:00ish and unloaded their "sleigh" full of gifts too. Addie and Annibell each got a rocking horse...it's soooo funny to watch them ride and smile! All in all, it was a great day and I couldn't have hoped for anything else for Addie's first Christmas.
Addis is so stinkin' funny right now! She loves hats (as you know) but would not wear the santa hat. So, we put her hood on then the other Christmas attire and she had a riot.
